What is Forget Your Credit Card?
Forget Your Credit Card (FYCC) is a game where people voluntarily subscribe to forget money every month and, if they opt in, compete on a public Lifetime leaderboard. It is not a bank, not a savings app, and not an investment.
Is FYCC a real subscription?
Yes. You choose a monthly amount and pay through Stripe Checkout. The subscription renews each month until you stop it. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored by this application.
How much does FYCC cost?
The live monthly amounts are $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $500, and $1,000. Amounts are monthly and recurring. A $10,000 amount is not offered.
What happens when I subscribe?
Stripe Checkout collects the first payment. Lifetime Forgotten and public rank update only after a successful invoice is recorded — not because a success URL loaded. Hidden is the default. Appearing on the public board is a separate opt-in.
How does the Lifetime leaderboard work?
Unlike a traditional leaderboard, FYCC ranks people by the total amount they have actually paid over time. The public board only includes accounts that are not deleted, have turned visibility on, have a username, and have a Lifetime greater than zero. Higher Lifetime ranks first. Equal Lifetime: the earlier Forgetter number wins.
What counts toward Lifetime?
Lifetime Forgotten is the sum of successful Payment amounts in USD cents. It is not the list price you clicked, not a number typed in the browser, and not active subscribers times a monthly price.
Can I join the leaderboard anonymously?
You can stay off the public board. That is the default. The public board requires a username you choose. Email, user id, and Stripe ids are never shown on the public leaderboard.
How do I become visible on the leaderboard?
After you have an account, open Your Forget or Account, pick a username, and join the public leaderboard. Visibility stays off until you do that. You can change the identity later or hide again.
How is my rank calculated?
Public rank is your position among currently visible Forgetters, ordered by Lifetime descending, then Forgetter number ascending. Rank is not a checkout option. It is a consequence of confirmed payments plus who else is public.
Can I stop my subscription?
Yes. STOP FORGETTING asks Stripe to cancel at the end of the current paid period. Access and ranking continue until that period ends. Lifetime Forgotten is kept. There is no dark pattern hiding the control — it is on the dashboard.
Is the leaderboard based on monthly price?
The public Lifetime leaderboard is not ranked by monthly Price. It is ranked by confirmed payments over time. There is a separate monthly ranking among eligible active subscriptions, used for status such as Top 1%. That monthly ranking is independent of the public Lifetime board.
Can someone pass me?
Yes. If another public Forgetter accumulates a higher Lifetime, they pass you. If Lifetime is tied, the earlier Forgetter number stays ahead.
What happens when someone passes me?
Your public rank number gets worse. Your Lifetime does not go down. Nothing is redistributed. Nobody wins a prize. The board just updates.
Does FYCC refund subscriptions?
The application does not issue automatic refunds. Payment disputes are handled through Stripe. Nothing here excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
How is my information used?
Account, billing, and security data are processed to run the service. Public leaderboard fields are shown only if you opt in. Details are on the Privacy page. Contact: hello@forgetyourcreditcard.com.
What happens if I delete my account?
Deletion is different from STOP FORGETTING. Deleting the account cancels any eligible Stripe subscription immediately so billing stops, disables login, removes you from the public board, and keeps payment history plus the Forgetter number. Forgetter numbers are never reused.
