THE MOVE

Forgetting money

The verb is the product. You pick an amount. Stripe charges it. The site stops asking you to think about it — except when the rank moves.

What forgetting is not

It is not a savings challenge. It is not advice. It is not a way to hide spending from yourself in a healthy, planner-app sense. FYCC will not make you richer. It will make a number on a leaderboard, if you let it.

It is also not a joke that stops at the landing page. The webhook is real. The invoice is real. STOP FORGETTING is real, and it cancels at period end.

What forgetting is

You choose one of the live monthly amounts. You pay through Stripe Checkout. Each successful payment adds its amount to Lifetime Forgotten. That Lifetime is the game score.

The monthly amount is a choice you can keep or stop. The Lifetime is a record. They are different numbers on purpose. Ranking on the public board uses the record.

Why people still do it

Because a leaderboard turns an invisible recurring charge into a visible position. Because #23 is funnier than a line item. Because someone else is already on the board, or because nobody is, and either version is a dare.

None of that is a recommendation. It is a description of the game that is actually running.
